‘The body of work I’ve created during my time at the residency is a reflection of who I am at this moment in time. Over the years, I’ve been learning the concept of ‘self-love,’ and I think I’ve come close to accepting who I am on my journey of self-discovery. These days, I like showing up as my authentic self because I believe that’s what helps to make true connections with people and create work that feels the most genuine.
Through these intimate portraits of my models set in the beautiful surroundings of nature, I’ve tried to capture raw, unfiltered, intimate moments that reflect both the inner and outer beauty of a person. Each photograph reflects a journey of self-discovery, showcasing the delicate balance between self-love and personal reflection. The deliberate process of shooting on film allows for authentic connections with my subjects and surroundings. This series invites the viewer to reflect on their own journeys towards self-love and personal growth, inspired by the calm and contemplative environment of this place. ‘
